The Record in Leitchfield, KY. has an immediate opening for a Retail Advertising Sales position. This position is responsible for growing existing accounts by a minimum of 25% and developing new accounts. The Record is a weekly publication in Grayson County, KY., about 40 miles south of Louisville.
Essential Functions:
90% of the time will be spent sellingTrack and analyze individual measuresFocus on increasing revenue for all LCNI Kentucky productsAsk questions and listen to advertisers proficiently to be able to understand their long-term needsMust be self-motivated and be willing to follow our sales process dailyMeet or execced monthly and annual sales goalsWork a minimum of 40 hours per week Qualifications Must be computer proficientMust have strong planning and organization skillsMedia sales experience preferredStrong presentation skills a plusMust be resilient and able to overcome obstaclesMust possess initiative, decision-making aptitude and problem solving skillsWilling to work in team environmentMust have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license to make local and regional sales callsHave strong understanding of competitive media Interested persons should apply to: Larry Jobe, Advertising Director 408 W.
